Subject : Oily veneer

I want to press some Camphorwood Burl veneer panels in my Vacupress 200.The wood is very aromatic and slightly oily.Will the Unibond 800 glue hold ? Thanks for your time and input.Steve

Steve,Unibond 800 is an excellent glue for most oily woods and should work fine on Camphorwood. I would still recommend a small test just to be sure on the particular veneer you have. Wait 24 hours, then try to tear it off. If it holds well, your good to go.
