I am working on a furniture proect for school. the shop puchased a press specifically for me. forms are build, wood is cut. the question is: should I glue up all 6 layers of 1/8" bending plywood and press them together all at once, or should I do them 1 or two at a time, adding more after having pressed for a few hours? My instructor has little experiance in this area and has only used a press in the past when veneering onto a substrate. Thanks for the help!! Katie

Katie,I would glue them all up at once unless the radius is too tight to achieve the bend in one shot. Its only the veneer you want to press up in a seperate operation, provided you are applying a veneer.SincerelyDarryl Keil: I am working on a furniture proect for school. the shop puchased a : press specifically for me. forms are build, wood is cut. the question : is: should I glue up all 6 layers of 1/8" bending plywood and press : them together all at once, or should I do them 1 or two at a time, : adding more after having pressed for a few hours?
