Hello, i am presently using Titebond II to press three peices of 1/8" mahogany plywood for a marine environment. Is this better than the unibond for (salt) water resistance? Also I understand that when pressing these three peices it is crucial to have the middle (sandwiched) piece grains running opposite the top and bottom pieces. Is this true?Any help would be much appreciated.Thanks.

Jonny,Unibond 800 is definately a better glue for your situation although I would not use either one for below the waterline exposure. When you are using plywood crossbanding is not really required since each sheet of 1/8" has cross banding in the middle, which is enough.SincerelyDarryl Keil: Hello, i am presently using Titebond II to press three peices of : 1/8" mahogany plywood for a marine environment.
