I was not aware that regular wood glue worked well with laminate. I am using Formica laminate and have plenty of Titebond around the shop. Do you need to dilute the glue mixture or apply it to both surfaces with a roller? Does it hold up well when trimming edges w/ a flush bit and file? Thank you for your replyB

Brian,No, you do not need to dilute the glue and yes, it holds up very well when trimming. You only need to apply glue to the substrate. As far as pressing, 1/2 hour is plenty of time in the press but I would wait at least 2 to 3 hours before trimming. Also, you need to apply some laminate to the back side as well since the glue will pull as it dries and bow your panel to some extend if you only glue one side.SincerelyDarryl Keil: I was not aware that regular wood glue worked well with laminate.
