Doug,Yes compound bending and veneering can be done but not to extremes. Each project has to be looked at individually in my opinion. There are no set parameters that I have found to go by. Pretty gentle generally. You really have to experiment. If you have a specific project in mind I would be happy to evaluate it for you.SincerelyDarryl Keil: I've been reading some of the old messages and it sounds like people : are using the VacuPress for compound curves. When i first began : using the "shop" vacupress i was under the impression that this : wasn't possible. I'm unable to run experiments now. Can someone : please elaborate on the successes of producing compound curves, for : example depth and scale? If i decide to invest in a vacupress for my : home shop which model would work best for "light" compound curve : work. Would i need to step up to the Professional?: any info or examples would be greatly appreciated.: -D-
