I have seen some info here about veneering drums, however I often see different information about what glue to use.I am going to be applying raw BE Maple to Beechwood and was wondering the best glue to use to prevent lifting and possible problems with sealing and clearcoating. I am in the process of writing a document that details how and what to use.How would the results be without using a vacuum press?

Jason,I would recommend a urea resin glue for the best long term results. Although you can use a yellow glue urea resin glue is superior for veneer. The key for good bonding is uniform consistent pressure, how ever you achieve that.SincerelyDarryl Keil: I have seen some info here about veneering drums, however I often see : different information about what glue to use.: I am going to be applying raw BE Maple to Beechwood and was wondering : the best glue to use to prevent lifting and possible problems with : sealing and clearcoating.
