Tony,Well, something definately went wrong but without asking a number of questions I cant tell you what it is with just the information in your post. Although I would have used no hole veneer tape on the face side, three hole tape still should have held. For a better diagnosis I suggest you give me a call at 207-725-0935 so we can talk more in depth.SincerelyDarryl Keil: I just tried to veneer my first panel using my Vacupress. I tried : some figured maple on the face side with some plain maple on the : back. The substrate was 3/4" MDF. I used Titebond cold press glue : since my Unibond hasn't arrived yet. I also jointed the veneer using : the jig in Darryl's video. I taped the pieces using 3 hole tape. : After I removed it from the press there were very visible glue lines : between each piece of veneer as though the veneer had been pulled : apart in the press. Did I do something wrong? Is this a symptom of : something common or do I just need more practice taping veneer. It : happened on both sides.: Thanks for any advice you can give me,: Tony
