Subject : Correct amount of bleed through?

I did a test veneer on some mahogany and MDF. When done I got some shiny spots on about 25% of the surface area which I assume is glue bleed through. Is this too much or too little bleed through for mahogany? Any input would be appreciated.Regards,Dan

Dan,25% of the veneer surface is a bit too much bleed through. What you want is just a little spotting here and there so you know you had enough glue plus a little extra that ended up bleeding through. On Mahogany excess bleed through wont really hurt anything it just adds extra work scraping it off.SincerelyDarryl Keil: I did a test veneer on some mahogany and MDF.
