Richard,Well, there is a magic bullet but it starts around $10,000 and goes up from there.I have been talking and listening to woodworkers for years and I have not heard about the perfect veneer cutting method until you spend the big bucks for a professional machine. So, if its any reasurance everyone else is generally in the same boat as you on this subject.SincerelyDarryl Keil: I have been doing veneer work for several years, I've taken on some : challenging projects and had good results, but the one aspect that : still gives me a bit of trouble is straight lining veneers before : taping. I have used a number of different methods including shooting : boards with planes, or sanding blocks, Flush trim routing veneers : that are sandwiched between panels, Table saw methods and Rotary : razor cutters from the fabric store. All of these methods have : brought some sucesses, but none of them seem fool proof. Has anyone : found a "magic bullet" that will give them a good reliable veneer : joint every time? I thank you, and welcome any and all suggestions. : Richard
