Subject : My first veneering - Veneering speaker cabinets

For my very first veneering experience I've decided to put a mahogany veneer on a recently completed set of speakers.I have bought and watched the much talked about veneering video and the main point of concern for a novice is that I'll have to veneer all six sides of these MDF based cabinets. The main question I have is will it be a simple as veneering the front and back at the same time then trimming and then doing the two sides? I'd like to hear from someone else that has done some speaker cabinets so I can query them on recommended procedures. Regards,Dan

Dan,I have not personally veneered speakers but your approach to veneering opposite sides together, trimming and veneering the next opposite sides together is the way I would do it. Your on the right track.SincerelyDarryl Keil: For my very first veneering experience I've decided to put a mahogany : veneer on a recently completed set of speakers.: I have bought and watched the much talked about veneering video and : the main point of concern for a novice is that I'll have to veneer : all six sides of these MDF based cabinets.
