Hello,If veneering a face and side of a box, I want to miter the corrners at a 45 just like if I were using solid wood to make a nice joint.(verticle or horizontal corrners) Can this be done with veneer? Do I have to ge a needle to inject glue on the corrner of the substrate and then use a caul? Can I use the needle with glue and iron it down? Will this cause the joint to be really weak? Has anyone done this and can it be done.

Dear Matthew,If I understand your question correctly you would veneer your core material ahead of time, miter your veneered panels and assemble them just like it was solid wood. You dont have to address the veneer seperately when you glue the box together.SincerelyDarryl Keil : Hello,: If veneering a face and side of a box, I want to miter the corrners : at a 45 just like if I were using solid wood to make a nice joint.: (verticle or horizontal corrners) Can this be done with veneer?
