Subject : veneering raised panel

I would like to veneer the front of a raised panel, then rout the profile, leaving the veneer on just the face of the the panel. The panel would be made of american cherry. Is this a workable idea and if so what glue would you reccomend. I normally use yellow glue with good success. Thanks

Dear Mark,Sure, this would work fine. Make sure the grain of the veneer is running in the same direction as the solid panel. Yellow glue would be fine in this situation.SincerelyDarryl Keil: I would like to veneer the front of a raised panel, then rout the : profile, leaving the veneer on just the face of the the panel.
