Dear Mark,Sure, this would work fine. Make sure the grain of the veneer is running in the same direction as the solid panel. Yellow glue would be fine in this situation.SincerelyDarryl Keil: I would like to veneer the front of a raised panel, then rout the : profile, leaving the veneer on just the face of the the panel. The : panel would be made of american cherry. Is this a workable idea and : if so what glue would you reccomend. I normally use yellow glue with : good success. Thanks
