Hi, I am new to Vac. veneering. I made a press and am ready to start. I chose 3/4" plywood as a substrate(not best choice I realize) I am filling any low spots w/ Durham rock putty to get it flat. Do I veneer the good side or the back side foirst? Any time frame between pressing to minimize warping? thanks, David

David, It is always best to press both sides at the same time, however, if you feel more comfortable doing only one side at a time, the you should do the 2nd pressing as soon as the glue has set on the 1st pressing. Set time will depend on what type of glue you use. Hope this helps, John.
