Subject : Tips for radial lay-up?

Somewhere I read a tip for cutting radial lay-ups. In particular, this was a suggestion regarding protecting the tips of the individual pieces. What was the tip? Blue tape the tips prior to cutting? Veneer tape the tips prior to cutting? Do you tape the underside and just leave the tape on when glueing up? How else to remove the tape without damaging the tips? Thanks...

Dear Jim,The tip was to apply a piece of no hole veneer tape to the area of the veneer where the tip will be after cutting. Each piece needs to be numbered ahead of time so you can be sure to put the veneer tape on the side that will face up.SincerelyDarryl Keil: Somewhere I read a tip for cutting radial lay-ups.
