Subject : Veneer softner

while using veneer softner in a vacuum press do you glue up at thesame time while using the softner or do you press with absorentmaterial let dry and then glue up. I'm very new to veneering and vacupressing.

Aaron,You need to use the softener seperate from the glue. Use the softener to flatten your veneer, then once its dry you can glue it.SincerelyDarryl Keil: while using veneer softner in a vacuum press do you glue up at the: same time while using the softner or do you press with absorent: material let dry and then glue up.
