I own a HiFlo Industrial and thinking about doing some fiberglass work with my system. In reading about this it appears West Systems (i.e. product manufacturer) recommends a T trap to collect any fiberglass resin. My question is if the HiFlo is protected from fiberglass resin with the filter or should I add a T-trap or not use the HiFlo on fiberglass. Thanks,

Scott,Although the filter on your HiFlo pump will trap the fiberglass resin it would ruin the jar and make it useless for trapping dust. I would put a in-line trap in the hose to collect excess resins. Also, try to use a light amount of fiberglass resin so hopefully you wont draw any down the hose.SincerelyDarryl Keil: I own a HiFlo Industrial and thinking about doing some fiberglass : work with my system.
