Subject : Putting veneer on substrate backside

I have a piece of 3/4" oak veneer plywood that I am using as a substrate for the veneering project I am now untaking. Since it already has a veneer on the backside (factory applied) do I still need to put another layer of my Walnut to the back as I am going to put Walnut on the front of this substrate? Thanks in advance!Dean

Dean,It doesn't need to be walnut but you do need to put something on the back. The panel needs to stay balanced. Glueing just one side will warp your panel. Doesn't matter that its already veneered on the back.SincerelyDarryl Keil: I have a piece of 3/4" oak veneer plywood that I am using as a : substrate for the veneering project I am now untaking.
