I did a test run with PVA (gluing leather onto a veneered surface) and I´m pretty satisfied with the result.
However there is still one thing to consider, covering only the top side with leather, do you think there is a danger of warping? Would you glue something onto the bottom side as well?
I could imagine that leather is a bit more forgiving due to its flexibility,
the panel is 1 inch MDF both sides veneered.
