Subject : Combining Veneer Work with Milk Paint Finishes

I am just a beginner at veneer work. I like using milk paint and am thinking of combining veneer (for example, in small table tops) with milk paint finishes on legs and aprons of the small tables, etc. Possible will try with boxes, jewelry boxes and other items, also.

Any one of you have combined these two? Can you point me to web sites, etc. where can view? Any suggestions and/or comments are welcome.
