Subject : Unibond as a substrate filler

Here's another use for Unibond that I've not read of on the forum: I just pressed a large panel for the back of a wall unit. This is larger than one sheet of ply so I had to splice on a strip. Well, the surfaces didn't flush out just right everywhere so rather than laborously sanding and feathering, I did a leveling fill. I mixed unibond with some cabosil and hoped for the best. It worked just fine. I was able to sand the area smooth with little effort and the veneer will bridge the small inconsistencies.
