Subject : grain direction

I will be veneering backed red birch veneer to both sides of 3/4" hardwood plywood approximately 80" x 24". The grain on the plywood will be running longway and is the same direction I want the grain to run on the veneer. Is it ok to have them both running the same direction on each side?
