Subject : New to Vacuum Pressing

: I've done a little veneering with clamps and cauls and would like to : move up to vaccum pressing. Most of what I will do are boxes and : small furniture parts. I currently use a refrig compressor for my : vacuum source on my lathe chuck. Will this be adequate for : veneering? Or should I avoid alot of frustration and invest in a : compact system? Thanks in advance.
